**Placement of Order  **

Any order placed by you from this website is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the stated price (including delivery and other charges) specified in this website at the time you place your order.

**Acceptance of Order    **

We reserve the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, such as the unavailability of any product or service, an error in the price of the product or service or an error in your order. As there may be reasons why we cannot fulfil your order, your contract with us will only come into existence when we advise you that we have accepted your order and receipt of your payment has been confirmed.

Changes to your order

You are welcome to make changes to your order. However, changes made within 72 hours prior to delivery may not be accepted. 

Essential Catering & Events will do its best to facilitate changes made with short notice.  When a change is requested on your order, Essential Catering & Events will resend you your order confirmation reflecting the change and indicating the order is updated.  More than 3 changes to an order may incur additional fees.

Order cancellation

All cancellations are required in writing or submitted through Essential Catering & Events online platform.

For orders less than $500, Essential Catering & Events will accept cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the delivery date requested for that order. 

Orders greater than $500 require a minimum 72 hours’ notice. 

Orders cancelled after the above times may incur charges based on expenses incurred by Essential Catering & Events.

Food allergies

Please be advised that Essential Catering & Events will do its best to ensure your catering does not contain any of the items to which your guest is allergic. 

Please be advised however that Essential Catering & Events cannot guarantee your order may not contain traces of the substances to which your guest is allergic. 

Essential Catering & Events will not take responsibility for any illness caused through consumption of catering containing traces of these substances or food groups. We recommend the severely allergic guests supply their own food from a reliable source that can guarantee no cross contamination.

**Pricing    **

Prices of goods and services and delivery and other charges displayed on the Essential Catering & Events website are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice. All transactions are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

We will always attempt to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions and pricing. However, we are unable to warrant that product descriptions or other content of the website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free.

**Credit Card Payments     **

Please note Essential Catering & Events accepts VISA and Mastercard for credit card transactions and credit card transaction incur a 1.5% transaction charge.


The prices displayed will be the total purchase price, inclusive of GST.

**Invoices/Receipts    **

At the end of the ordering  process you will be presented with a receipt on-screen containing your order number. This order number should be quoted for any enquiries you may have relating to your order. The page can be printed for your reference. You will receive from Essential Catering & Events a tax invoice/receipt for taxation purposes in the via email.

**Cancellation by Us       **

We reserve the right not to provide goods or services, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders (or part thereof) at our sole discretion at any time. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.

Refund / Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. Our agreement with you only comes into existence once we have both confirmed your order and your payment has been processed. Once we have accepted payment for an order, cancellation of the order is within our sole discretion as per the below.

In the instance that you need to cancel your event, the following conditions will apply:

All cancellations must be made in writing.

If cancellation occurs more than 176 days prior to the event date, 100% of the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation occurs 21-176 days (inclusive) prior to the event date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

If cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to the event date, the cancellation fee will consist of the total deposit and all non-refundable charges.
